Prayer Mission – Lijiang, Yunnan 11-15 March 2008
On 11th March 2008, the “4 Junks” took its first Prayer Missions trip to Lijiang, a city in China’s Yunnan Province. The “4 Junks” were Pastors Yew Kwong and Geok Eng, Sis Doris and Karen and it was a vision given to Karen while the four of them were praying together back in 1989. It represents the four of them sailing together for Prayer Missions to places as assigned by the Lord. This trip is a prelude of the fulfillment of the vision – 20 years in making!
Prior to the trip, we picked up in prayer that we would be going up “the mountain” to receive instructions from God, just as Moses received the blueprint to build the tabernacle when he was on the mountain. You can read about this in Exodus chapter 24 onwards.
75% of the total 7 sessions of prayer we had, pertained to praying out the new assignments that God has for the church. It appears that He is leading us into new things, to which we do not have as yet a complete clue on how to go about doing it. Hence we are treading very carefully and prayerfully on those things which were shown us on “the mountain” and are careful not to deviate from the same. (more…)

Have A Pure Motive
When Jesus appeared before Kenneth Hagin in 1987, Jesus told him many things:
The Lord spoke to me and said, “I bless all of My people as far as I can. But the reason there is not the move of God and the depth of the flow of the Spirit, and the fullness of the manifestation of the Holy Ghost today is because men do not take time to hear from Me. And they do not take to follow My plan.
Many times, the reason people fail and the reason ministries fail is because they have the wrong plan, purpose, and motive.
No matter who you are or what your endeavor is, if your plans and purposes are in line with God, they will succeed.
Let’s stay with God’s plan. It will always prosper!
What Jesus said about a Pastor:
The Lord said, “He has never asked Me for any kind of plan for his life, his ministry, or his church. He forms his own plans, and then he asks Me to bless them. I bless him as far as I can, but I can’t meet his financial needs because he’s putting forth his own plans and not Mine. I didn’t tell him to do a lot of the things he’s doing. He just added his own plans and not Mine. I didn’t tell him to do a lot of the things he’s doing. He just added his own plans to what I did tell him to do. He tacks his plans on here and there, and I can’t bless them. I would if I could, but I can’t. I can’t put My approval on man’s plans when they are not My plans. You see, his purposes are all wrong. If his purposes are wrong, then his pursuits will be wrong. (more…)
