Move into Your Wealthy Place

There is going to be new opportunities being opened unto us by God and at the same time, He is also restoring lost opportunities to people.

The day after I prayed with our young adults on Sunday 8th Feb this came out of my spirit, “Pray for every young adult into that place that God has for them.” There was an excitement in my spirit to see every young adult step into that place. My sensing was concerning the next place from where they are currently at. For some it would be in another location, for others it would be doing something different. Some may still remain in the same physical location but moving to a higher level of operation while for others it may require an enlargement and expansion. Whatever place God has for you next it’s going to be a wealthier place, a rich place, a place of rich fulfillment. It will be a place of increase for you and a place to increase you. A couple of years ago, the Word of the Lord that came to us was and still is, is…

Psalm 66:12

12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. KJV

…But You brought us out to rich fulfillment. NKJV
…but you brought us to a place of abundance. NIV

The nation of Israel went through fire and water due to their own sins, yet God would restore them and bring them into a wealthy place, a place of abundance and not of lack, a place of rich fulfillment where the plans of God were fulfilled.

The Obedience of Faith and a Willing Heart (Attitude)

For God to take us into the place that He has predestined for us, we must have a willing and yielded heart. Then it takes the obedience of faith; when God shows us that place we must obey Him to move to take that place. (Isaiah 1:19)

Faith to Stay in that Place

When you move into that place then it takes faith to stay in that place. It can be a place where there’s a difficult boss, a teacher, or a pastor. You stay in that place because you heard from God or you know it is God who directed you there. You remain there because you have not heard from God or God has not directed you out of that place for the season is not up yet. It takes faith to submit to superiors in that place. It takes faith to do some of the things in that place. God told Isaac to stay in the place (land) of famine and God provided for him a hundredfold. (Genesis 26)

Faith to Move from a Place

When the season is due and God is directing you to move from that place, then don’t stay in that place any longer. It takes faith to move because you can be so comfortable, so emotionally attached. You move because you heard from God or you knew He is directing you. Then you move by faith. It takes faith to move from a place. For others it takes faith for them to move out of “messy” places that they got themselves into. Before God can move them they need to repent then seek the Lord and trust Him to direct them out of those “messy” places. Often it requires us to “let go” of things to move into the place God has for us. There may be places and things that we hold onto that will not allow us to move into what is God’s best for us.

Don’t Let the Devil Sweep You from that Place

Recently this was what we picked up in the prayer group – that the devil’s tail is sweeping people from the place God has put them. We see again and again that people allow the devil to sweep them from the place God placed them. How do we know? Because God didn’t say to move and they moved from that place. At times it just takes humility to stay in the hard places. Bro. Keith Moore (my bible school instructor) shared that there was a season they just wanted to quit serving the Hagins at Rhema. He said the pressure was really on them and they just thought of quitting. But he prayed about it and the Lord didn’t allow them to leave but had already told him at the start to help Bro. Hagin. He stayed faithful to help Bro. Hagin and when the time came God said He would give Bro. Keith his own ministry. The Lord told him that if he would be faithful with another man’s, God would give to him his very own. (I am paraphrasing from Bro. Keith) .God knew the pressure was coming but He moved you there in the first place.

A Wealthy Place

A wealthy place is a place where God wants you to be, it may be forever or it could be for a season. It is a place for increase; God will develop you, prepare you and increase you. It is a place where the condition is right and suitable for your development and to prepare you for great days ahead. It is a place of plenty of goods. Most important of all, it is a place that is of the perfect will of God and God’s plan for your life!
