Faith is Your Assurance

Hebrews 10:22

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. NKJV

The Word of God says faith will give us the full assurance. In other words, when faith comes and we receive it, it will give us a full assurance. And we know how faith comes.

Romans 10:17

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.KJV

Faith comes by hearing the Word from the Lord and continuous hearing will reinforce our faith and it will reinforce our assurance since faith is your assurance.

When people feel insecure it is because they either lack faith or their faith is weak or dimming. They must constantly look to God, looking to His Word, to be their constant assurance.

God is your source of security, your strength of assurance, and your courage of endurance.

If you feel insecure in your health, then find the knowledge from God’s Word concerning what He is saying concerning health and healing.

If you feel insecure in finances and finances for retirement, then study the Word of God to build your knowledge on what God’s Word teaches on financial principles.

When you allow insecurity to grip you, anxiety will set in and it will hinder your faith. If it is not removed it will not please God because without faith it is impossible to please Him. The spirit of anxiety will also lead to doubts and unbelief thus leading to a lot of ungodly stress affecting others who are around you and their walk with God.

If there is job insecurity and feelings of insecurity about raising your children then learn to put your faith in the Heavenly Father. Build a deeper relationship with Him by simply building your knowledge on the Father who cares and provides. For if He feeds the birds on the tree will He not also feed you.

Matthew 6:26-27

26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? NIV

Look not elsewhere but to the Source and the beginning of all things, the Almighty God, the Creator of all things and in Him all things hold together.

Thank God for He is our Heavenly Father.

Integrity in Leadership

An article by Mac Hammond in the “Winner’s Minute” made mention about a US army general who spent his life time studying the leadership qualities of great military leaders. The subject of “Integrity” and “Leadership” is very relevant to our lives. This particular general found that almost all great combat leaders stated integrity as being the most significant and important factor in leadership.

A man of integrity is a man who keeps his word unless the one whom he had given his word to releases him from his responsibility.

Recently one of our teachers was confronted with a situation whereby he had to make a decision whether to fulfil his commitment to teach in our school. He went on his knees to pray and sought God. Like I always say, if you don’t want to do what God says, then don’t pray. So when he prayed God spoke to him through…

Psalms 15:4

4. …He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; NKJV

This teacher (who is teaching in our Bible school) said, he cannot teach Principles of Leadership and teach integrity in leadership, if he himself would not keep his own word. So he made the decision, together with his wife supporting this decision, to fulfil his commitment to us regardless of the consequences.

God magnifies His Word above His Name.

Psalms 138:2

2. …For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. NKJV

Why? Because if His Word is no good, then God is no good. Since He is a good God, He makes good His Word by honouring His Word. When God said it then it shall be as He had spoken be it in the written Word or by His Spirit that dwells in us.

A man is as good as his word. We can trust God because we know that His Word is good enough for us. If we can believe anything He says to us, then there is nothing impossible with God and all things are possible to those who will hold fast to confess His Word spoken to them.

Great men and women of God, great leaders in the making, must be men and women of his and her word.

God said He will make us rich if we follow His Spirit’s leading and from the Scripture below, His Word says…

Deuteronomy 28:8

8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouse and in all that you undertake. And He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you. AMP

He commands His blessing upon us and in our storehouses (bank accounts). But will we be men and women of our words – men and women of integrity – for God to make us rich? Will we be men and women of integrity after God has made us rich?

He is raising up multi-millionaires among us. Let every man and woman among us be leaders of integrity.
