Faith is Your Assurance
Hebrews 10:22
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. NKJV
The Word of God says faith will give us the full assurance. In other words, when faith comes and we receive it, it will give us a full assurance. And we know how faith comes.
Romans 10:17
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.KJV
Faith comes by hearing the Word from the Lord and continuous hearing will reinforce our faith and it will reinforce our assurance since faith is your assurance.
When people feel insecure it is because they either lack faith or their faith is weak or dimming. They must constantly look to God, looking to His Word, to be their constant assurance.
God is your source of security, your strength of assurance, and your courage of endurance.
If you feel insecure in your health, then find the knowledge from God’s Word concerning what He is saying concerning health and healing.
If you feel insecure in finances and finances for retirement, then study the Word of God to build your knowledge on what God’s Word teaches on financial principles.
When you allow insecurity to grip you, anxiety will set in and it will hinder your faith. If it is not removed it will not please God because without faith it is impossible to please Him. The spirit of anxiety will also lead to doubts and unbelief thus leading to a lot of ungodly stress affecting others who are around you and their walk with God.
If there is job insecurity and feelings of insecurity about raising your children then learn to put your faith in the Heavenly Father. Build a deeper relationship with Him by simply building your knowledge on the Father who cares and provides. For if He feeds the birds on the tree will He not also feed you.
Matthew 6:26-27
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? NIV
Look not elsewhere but to the Source and the beginning of all things, the Almighty God, the Creator of all things and in Him all things hold together.
Thank God for He is our Heavenly Father.
