Let’s Reach Out!
Let’s reach out to the people whom you know at your workplace, in your schools and universities, and your neighbours around you. According to statistics, the retention rate is higher of those who get saved, are your friends that you bring to church yourself. Even in the big crusades where people receive salvation their retention rate is low. Therefore let us reach out to the people whom you know at the workplace, in the schools and universities, and your neighbours. Of course don’t forget your family members as well.
There is a story of a Samaritan woman who gave some water to Jesus for Him to drink when He was weary. Jesus had revelation knowledge about this woman who had five husbands before.
John 4:25-26,28-30,39-42
25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” 26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” 28 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him. And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. 41 And many more believed because of His own word. 42 Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.” NKJV
After Jesus had told her all the things she had ever done, she went back to the city and told others about Jesus and thereafter many Samaritans believed in Him. They invited Jesus to stay with them and He did for two days, and many more believed His word.
When we have received from Christ, be it revelations, healing, directions or financial blessings it is because the Lord has opened new doors to bless you, so go tell others about what the Lord has done for you.
Primarily you want to tell them that Jesus died for them so that they will not be condemned in hell. But if they accept Him into their lives, He will bring them back to be with Him in heaven. They can then pray for their loved ones so that one day they will all be together with Jesus in heaven. For the wages of sin is eternal death; forever burning in hell.
You can start a prayer group with the ones you have led to salvation. After that start praying for more people to get saved and to join your prayer group.
Then you will have a prayer group in your workplace, your school or university, and in your home!
As a church let’s pray until we constantly have at least ONE soul saved every Sunday! Amen!
