Go Teach My People Faith

I've received several commissions from the Lord through the years. For example, the Lord showed me in the mid-1940s when I was 27 years old that by the time I reached 65, two main outreaches of my ministry would be radio and the printed page.
In 1950 after I began my traveling ministry, the Lord gave me another part of my commission. I heard an audible Voice from Heaven say,
"GO TEACH MY PEOPLE FAITH. I have taught you faith through My Word, and I have permitted you to go through certain experiences. You have learned faith both through My Word and by experience. Now go teach My people what I have taught you."
I began doing that in all of my meetings, and since then I have taught on the subject of faith more than on any other subject.
As I said, Jesus gave me the divine commission to "Go teach My people faith". You see, in the early days of my ministry, many others preached Jesus-strictly the salvation message-and that is of foremost importance. But I saw so many of God's people broken down spiritually and in bondage to the enemy. So many seemed hopelessly defeated in life because they didn't know the truth about who they are in Christ.
Many times I would go home after meetings and lie prostrate on the floor, weeping before the Lord because I knew I had to somehow get the faith message out to more people. But I felt so inadequate to accomplish the task alone.
It was some time later when I began to realize how my part in this great task would be accomplished. It would be accomplished by training men and women for the ministry who had the same passion for God's Word that I had. The vision would be fulfilled by teaching others how to help those who are hurting and don't know their rights and privileges in Christ.
