A DYNAMIC PRAYING CHURCH - THE PRAYER MINISTRY
The Prayer Ministry prepares the platform for God to move and to do whatever He desires in nations, churches and in lives of individuals. Jesus said, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.' (Mark 11:17 NKJV) At Faith Bible Church, prayer is taught by precept and example. The Spirit of prayer permeates the Church. It is in this spiritual environment that members are trained and equipped with the Word of God, and they learn to flow with the Holy Spirit in prayer and with accuracy. Over time, they develop effective and fruitful prayer lives as well as a deeper relationship with God, the Heavenly Father. We believe that God is raising up godly men and women of prayer, tenacious in spirit and bold in faith. They allow the Holy Spirit to lay hold together with them in prayer, in order to change things in the realm of the spirit. By grace, through faith, they would pray His predetermined and foreordained plans and purposes into manifestation and help to usher in the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
DYNAMIC PRAYER GROUPS - HOME PRAYER GROUPS
In our Home Prayer Groups, members gather to pray, fellowship and bond with one another during the week. Prayer leaders are appointed over these groups and they help the Pastor to care for and watch over the members in prayer. Many have tasted the dynamics of a praying group and have learnt to take care of the Father's business in prayer. In Faith Bible Church, we endeavour to help members pray out and to fulfill their destinies in God. Home prayer groups provide an excellent platform for members to first pray out their unknown future in the realm of the spirit before walking out those God-ordained paths in the natural realm. We help to pray them into places where God wants them that they might fulfill His higher purpose. Where the future is concerned, we have experienced praying out things two years ahead of time.
