Demonstrations and Power of The Holy Spirit

The Bible says we are not to be ignorant or misinformed about the things of the Spirit of God.

Paul said his preaching was in demonstration of the Spirit and of Power. (1 Corinthians 2:4).

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Power. He will demonstrate Himself and release His power. It could be through the preaching of God’s Word, in prayer and worship or other Holy Ghost meetings.

We can see in the Bible what happened when the Holy Spirit demonstrated Himself and released His power:-

•As a river
•As wind
•As fire
•Drunk in the spirit
•Laughing in the spirit
•Fell and trembled under the power
•Running under the power
•Falling under the power
•Translated by the power
•Raised by the power
•Lifted by the power
•Struck dumb by the power
•Struck blind by the power

What is the purpose of the demonstration of the Spirit? The Spirit of God wants to teach and lead us to yield to the Holy Spirit. Often when we do, the needs of the people are met.

From henceforth, He can bring us to yield to the greater things of God.

The Holy Spirit will never compel us.
