Living a Lifestyle of Worship

The word worship comes from the word “worthiness or worth-ship”. So why do we worship? We worship because He is worthy and all honor and worth belongs to Him. We are created from the beginning in God’s image so that we may image forth God’s glory.

It is very easy to take something that we have experienced before for granted. In this case it is very easy to take his faithfulness for granted.

When we come to worship Him, cultivate an attitude of expectation. Be present in His presence. Don’t wait till you have figured it out, don’t wait till you feel spiritual. Expect Him right here and right now.

It’s all about Trusting God. Worship should be done freely. It’s all about the heart of worship.

Worship changes everything because it is about being in the presence of the one who is worthy of all worship, and acknowledging that all we are, all that we have, and all that we do is a response to His amazing grace.
