Worship The Lord in Truth

We worship Him for He is God. We praise Him for His Omnipotence, His Omniscience and His Omnipresence. We thank Him for what He has done. The definition of worship from the Old Testament is “worship”, “to bow down”, “to prostrate oneself out of respect”, “to serve”. We present our bodies a living sacrifice in service and in act of worship to God.

There are seven principles of worship we can derive from the Old Testament which are still applicable to us today:
Principle #1 – Remove the Things that Draw You Away from Worship
Principle #2 – Do Not Worship the Ways of the World
Principle #3 – The One Place of Worship is in Your Heart
Principle #4 – Sacrifice
Principle #5 – Because God Has Blessed You
Principle #6 – Not To Do As You See Fit
Principle #7 – Give Your Best in Worship Unto the Lord
